Hayley Irving APAM MACP

Hayley Irving is a passionate and expert Pelvic Health Physiotherapist with over 17 years experience treating patients successfully with their pelvic health conditions.

Hayley is caring and empathetic and will take the time to listen to your history and needs, working with you to make a tailored action plan to achieve your goals. She believes treatment is not confined to the pelvis but the whole person should be taken into account- body, mind and their world around them.

Hayley is an APA Titled Pelvic Health Physiotherapist and also teaches emerging Pelvic Health Physiotherapists on the Masters of Pelvic Health Physiotherapy program at The University of Melbourne.

Frequently Asked Questions

Have other questions? Get in touch with our team via our Contact Us form.

How do I make an appointment?

Please book online here. Alternatively, please call our friendly reception team on (03) 9087 8181 to find a suitable appointment time.

Do I need a referral?

A referral is not required to see a Physiotherapist, however if you have a referral from your Specialist or GP, please bring it along to your appointment.

What will the appointment involve?

Our Physiotherapists will take a detailed history from you, this may include completion of questionnaires for us to better understand you, your presentation and your world.

If it is indicated and you are consenting, your Physio will assess the area. This may include digital vaginal, perineal and/or rectal assessments, ultrasound and visual assessments.

The choice is yours and your Physiotherapist will explain the assessment choices in detail during your consult.

What if I can’t find a suitable appointment?

If you can’t find a suitable appointment online then please contact us with your requests and we will be in touch shortly.

Does my private health insurance cover the appointment?

Private health insurance with extras will partly cover your appointment fee. The rebate will depend on your level of cover. We recommend contacting your insurer if you have any issues. Please call our friendly reception staff if you require item numbers.

Can I claim through Medicare?

For patients with long standing issues, a Medicare Chronic Disease Management Plan (CDM) can be obtained from your GP. This will partly rebate your appointment fees. Please discuss your eligibility and plan with your GP.

What are your fees?

Initial Appointment (60 minutes) $230

Review (30 minutes) $150

Telehealth Initial (60 minutes) $230

Telehealth review (30 minutes) $120

Can I have another person attend with me?

You are more than welcome to bring your baby, child or family member with you

What if I need to cancel?

As you can imagine our appointment times are precious. If you are unable to attend, please call at your earliest convenience so we can find another suitable time for you.

Cancellations with less than 48 hours’ notice will incur a cancellation fee of 50 percent of the full fee. Failure to attend an appointment (without notice of cancellation) will incur a fee equivalent to the full cost of the appointment.

Can I still attend my appointment if I have my period?

We can still assess and treat you while you have your period, as long as you are comfortable.
